Ridgeline’s Ridge-Lok cement head is designed to make launching cement plugs an easy and safe operation. The connection between the cement head casing adapter and the cement head assembly utilizes a breach lock design thereby facilitating the ease of installation of the cement head to the casing. The installation consists of aligning the cement head to the casing adapter, lowering the cement head past the breach-lock lugs, rotating the cement head 30 degrees, and securing the connection with the latch. An external manifold with valves allows for circulating and plug launching without the necessity of opening the cement head.
Made from heat treated low alloy steel, the pressure ratings range from 10,000 psi for a 4-1/2” cement head to 2,400 psi for a 20” cement head.
